Husband's family were in the construction industry so husband saying he was pleased with their work is no mean feat.
I highly recommend Danny and his team at Laurdan Deeside for any and all of your construction or landscaping needs. They are my kind of builder: professional, polite and helpful and do brilliant work.​
Our garden landscaping project was huge. Having to remove dangerous trees beside a burn to the rear of our property, Danny suggested building a bank using locally sourced boulders to solve the potential problem of our garden flooding. (The first of many excellent suggestions). The finished result is amazing and means that we have regained about 2 metres of garden that was a slope into the burn. They built 3 granite slab patios & numerous paths, and complete re-fencing of the rear garden with turf laid to front and rear gardens.
They also completed a very substantial cabin base and a concrete decking area - each with balustrades beside the burn - a new pergola, replacement guttering/downpipes and additional downpipes with drainage and lawn drainage, roof repairs and broken roof tiles replacements, replaced our leaking garage roof with EPDM rubber, installed two sets of steps to the house plus a disabled access ramp, a new woodstore, and erected a greenhouse. Magnificent.
They worked during the coldest months in wind, frost and rain and were still able to smile!
They have all been absolutely amazing. Brilliant job.

Recommend for hires
I hired a slab cutting table and was well impressed. Being a true Aberdonian I wanted to hire for only one day, so asked if it could be delivered early. Danny offered to drop it off the night before, and collect it at 7am so I had a full day, giving me contingency into the evening if I under-estimated the effort. He even set it up for me. The price including insurance, delivery and blade wear was reasonable and was well worth-while as it cuts no problem. Would recommend if you are laying slabs, and would recommend Laurdan Deeside for any construction hire.
